Oxytocin-supporting Fermented Miso & Tofu Bowl (Ve)

This fermented miso and tofu bowl is rich in flavour and oxytocin-supporting goodness. Miso (a fermented food) promotes gut health, which supports oxytocin production. Oxytocin also plays a vital role in reducing stress and promoting emotional resilience.

Ingredients

  • ½ cup cooked quinoa
  • ½ cup cubed firm tofu
  • 1 tbsp. miso paste
  • 1 cup steamed vegetables (broccoli, carrots, spinach or your favourite vegetables)
  • 1 tbsp. sesame seeds
  • 1 tsp. ginger (grated)
  • 1 tbsp. tamari sauce

Method

  1. Steam your vegetables and stir-fry your tofu.
  2. Whisk miso paste, tamari sauce, and ginger together with warm water.
  3. Toss the tofu and vegetables in the dressing.
  4. Serve over quinoa and top with sesame seeds.
