Oxytocin-supporting Fermented Miso & Tofu Bowl (Ve)

This fermented miso and tofu bowl is rich in flavour and oxytocin-supporting goodness. Miso (a fermented food) promotes gut health, which supports oxytocin production. Oxytocin also plays a vital role in reducing stress and promoting emotional resilience.
Ingredients
- ½ cup cooked quinoa
- ½ cup cubed firm tofu
- 1 tbsp. miso paste
- 1 cup steamed vegetables (broccoli, carrots, spinach or your favourite vegetables)
- 1 tbsp. sesame seeds
- 1 tsp. ginger (grated)
- 1 tbsp. tamari sauce
Method
- Steam your vegetables and stir-fry your tofu.
- Whisk miso paste, tamari sauce, and ginger together with warm water.
- Toss the tofu and vegetables in the dressing.
- Serve over quinoa and top with sesame seeds.
