How long can you take Stay Calm® for?

Stay Calm® can be taken over the long term and is formulated for just that purpose - Stay Calm® is your daily partner to manage pressure of daily life, and brings natural calm, balance, energy and focus.

While it is often sensible with supplements to take a break if you feel able to, it is not necessary with Stay Calm® if you wish to continue taking them. Ashwagandha KSM-66® is fine to take over the long term at the dosage in Stay Calm® - where Ashwagandha can be at higher dosages, for example at 500mg, it is generally advisable to take a break after 4-6 months, however even at that dosage it is not essential.

As such you can continue taking Stay Calm® over the long term, either at the recommended dosage of two capsules a day or you can try taking one capsule a day if that provides sufficient support.

Can I take Stay Calm® with MenoFriend®?

Yes, MenoFriend® and Stay Calm® can be taken together and are a very popular combination. Stay Calm® combined with MenoFriend® is a very popular alternative to Ashwagandha KSM-66® combined with MenoFriend®.

While MenoFriend® is effective at naturally regulating hormones to improve your mood and helping your body overcome tension, often the changes and pressures of menopause can reach a level that it is common to need additional support for your mood and to overcome tension and irritability during menopause.

When is the best time to take Stay Calm®?

We recommend taking two capsules each day, and you can take your capsules together or separately, in the morning, daytime or in the evening. There isn't a right or wrong time to take Stay Calm® - many people take it in the mornings each day for daily support, while others take it in the afternoons if they typically feel stressed later in the day. Find the right time for you and ideally take your Stay Calm® before the onset of tension or stress.

Stay Calm® is safe to take over the long term, either at a dosage of two capsules daily or one a day.

Can my teenager take Stay Calm®?

Although our supplements are formulated for adults aged 18 and over, they can also be taken safely by teenagers in many cases. Whether a teenager can take Stay Calm® or not depends on if they're of an average size, weight and development for their age, and if they're not on any prescribed medication or under medical supervision. If at all in doubt, please consult your GP or a healthcare practitioner.

Older teenagers who are of average size and weight can and do take Stay Calm® if they're experiencing anxiety, either at one capsule a day or at two capsules a day. You can start with one capsule a day and in some cases this is sufficient.

For teenagers, we also recommend our Vegan Omega 3 - essential fatty acids are very important for the brain, especially in teenagers as their brains are growing and developing. We also recommend avoiding sugars which are among the common culprits for driving anxiety, alongside a lack of healthy fats such as Omega 3. By reducing the intake of sugar and inflammatory fats found in ultra-processed foods such as ready meals, takeaways, and crisps, it allows the body to find natural calm, moving from a state of 'fight or flight' to 'rest and digest'.

If wish to take both Stay Calm® and our Ashwagandha KSM-66®, we recommend initially taking just one capsule of Stay Calm® with one Ashwagandha KSM-66® and monitor how you feel.

Diet can play a role in helping manage anxiety, as we explain in 'Foods and Vitamins to Help Relieve Anxiety.' Sugar and a lack of healthy fats in your diet, such as Omega 3, are common drivers of anxiety. By reducing your intake of sugar and inflammatory fats found in ultra-processed foods such as ready meals, takeaways, crisps etc. allows the body to calm down, moving from a state of 'fight or flight' to 'rest and digest'.
