Pumpkin Hummus (Ve)

Cosy and nourishing, our pumpkin hummus recipe is ideal for snacking during the fall and winter months. Pumpkins are rich in beta-carotene, an antioxidant that helps the body fight off colds and flu.


  • 1 can (400g) of chickpeas
  • 125ml of pumpkin purée
  • 3 tbsp tahini
  • 2-3 cloves of garlic
  • 1 lemon (fresh juice)
  • A pinch of salt and pepper
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • ¼ tsp cinnamon
  • 2 tbsp of olive oil


  1. Drain and rinse chickpeas.
  2. Add all ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth and creamy.
  3. You may need to add more olive oil or a little bit of water to get the desired consistency you want.
  4. Garnish with roasted pumpkin seeds and other toppings of your choice.
  5. Enjoy!
