Why Vegan Nights® is so good

Your Vegan Nights® is expertly formulated with natural ingredients to help relax your mind and body for complete and regenerative sleep. If you suffer anxiety or stress in the evenings, this will lead to higher levels of cortisol which inhibits the production of melatonin, your sleep hormone. If this is the case, we recommend our Ashwagandha KSM-66® which helps lower cortisol and is recommended alongside Vegan Nights®.

How to take it?

Take one or two Vegan Nights® capsules up to two hours before bedtime. For some people, 30 minutes before bed works well, for others two hours before bed works best. We're all unique so try to adapt to what works best for you.

If you're taking Ashwagandha KSM-66® alongside your Vegan Nights, we recommend taking your Ashwagandha KSM-66® up to 1-3 hours before bedtime to give it time to help lower your cortisol levels.

How does it work?

Vegan Nights' naturally sourced and plant-based ingredients are expertly formulated so they work in harmony to create the optimal conditions to put your mind and body at rest. Here are the stars of Vegan Nights:

L-Glycine: An amino-acid found in protein rich foods including meat, fish, dairy and legumes, numerous studies show L-Glycine has a calming effect on your brain, reducing the time it takes to fall asleep and enhancing sleep quality. It also has a regenerative effect, reducing feelings of tiredness during the day.

L-Theanine: Also an amino-acid and found most commonly in green and black tea, studies show L-Theanine helps your body relax and has been taken for years to help reduce feelings of stress and anxiety.

5-HTP: 5-HTP (5-Hydroxytryptophan) is an amino-acid that your body naturally produces. 5-HTP produces serotonin, which is converted to melatonin, and melatonin is a hormone in your body which regulates your sleep cycle. Low levels of serotonin are associated with sleep disorders so 5-HTP helps combat this by stimulating serotonin and in turn the production of melatonin.

Zinc & Magnesium: Zinc is naturally found in plant and animal foods and is a mineral 'Superhero' alongside Magnesium. Zinc works with the amino-acids in Vegan Nights by helping metabolise melatonin, and it plays a critical role in your neurotransmitter function. Magnesium is an essential mineral for your psychological wellbeing and the normal function of your nervous system, and is well known for supporting better sleep.

Chamomile: For years Chamomile has been used as a natural remedy to treat insomnia. Our plant-extract Chamomile contains apigenin, a compound that is believed to induce sleepiness when it binds to the GABA receptors in your brain.

Still struggling with your sleep?

If your sleep doesn't improve with Vegan Nights® alone, we recommend taking Ashwagandha KSM-66® and Magnesium with your Vegan Nights®.

Why Ashwagandha KSM-66®?

If you suffer stress or anxiety, even infrequently, your cortisol levels may be too high. Cortisol is your stress hormone and inhibits melatonin, your sleep hormone. Without addressing cortisol, Vegan Nights® won't be as effective.

Ashwagandha KSM-66® helps balance and lower cortisol, so taken an hour or two before or alongside Vegan Nights, Ashwagandha can make a big difference to your sleep.

Why Magnesium?

Magnesium is an essential mineral for psychological wellbeing and muscle recovery. With one or two capsules in the evening alongside Vegan Nights, Magnesium enables your muscles and body to relax, working in harmony with Vegan Nights to support the onset of sleep and deeper sleep.
