How it works?

Created by a team of women’s health experts and nutritionists, Women’s ProMulti provides a practitioner approved formula with a unique blend of bio-available ingredients that are gentle on digestion for improved absorption and efficacy.

Formulated for women at any age, it can be particularly beneficial in supporting healthy ageing and vitality, with a focus on cognitive function, healthy skin and vision, bone and muscle health, and includes unique botanicals and live cultures for a balanced microbiome, which play a key role in immune function.

Although Women’s ProMulti is a formula that can provide support to women at any stage of life, it can particularly provide support to the needs of women over the age of 50.

Skin, Hair and Nail support

Since collagen production naturally declines from the age of 30, looking after its natural production is vital and Women’s ProMulti provides a unique blend of ingredients to help with this.

  • Along with amino acids, Vitamin C plays a key role in skin health by providing the building blocks and support for normal collagen formation.
  • Although collagen is the main structural protein of skin, hair, and nails, ligaments and tendons, other vitamins and minerals play an important role in the health of the skin, hair and nails. These include Selenium, Zinc and Iodine all included in Women’s ProMulti.
  • Vitamin A, Niacin and Biotin support the maintenance of normal mucous membranes and contribute to the maintenance of normal skin.
  • The skin, hair and muscle are all made from the protein we consume daily. Although a woman's recommended protein intake of 45g a day, can be met through the consumption of a variety of protein sources, we may sometimes need additional support. 6
  • Women’s ProMulti provides Glycine, Proline and Lysine at 50 mg each, per serving.

Supports Optimal Energy and Vitality
  • Some nutrients can help provide support for energy, vitality and stress which in turn can help the body to cope better with the demands of modern living, and ensures that you can live healthily and happily.
  • B vitamins are water-soluble, which means we cannot store excess amounts, so they need to be replenished each day. Vitamin B1, B2, B3, B5, B6 , Biotin and B12 along with other key nutrients like Calcium contribute to normal energy release. Women’s ProMulti provides methylated forms of B vitamins, which provide ‘body-ready’ forms of these nutrients, supporting superior absorption.
  • Magnesium helps reduce tiredness and fatigue. Magnesium can support the body as it helps to facilitate energy at a cellular level and is involved in over 300 enzymatic processes in the body. It plays an important role in optimising the enzyme that helps synthesise ATP, a key component that generates energy in each of our cells. 2-5
  • Ashwagandha supports energy, vitality and a healthy stress response. You may enjoy reading about the 8 surprising benefits of Ashwagandha.

Supports Bones, Teeth and Muscle Function

Bone density and muscle mass are drastically reduced as we age, and whilst regular exercise and a varied and balanced diet play an important role, women in particular, need additional care and support.

  • Vitamin K2 and D3 support the body in directing Calcium to where it is needed the most, i.e. to the bones, in addition to aiding Calcium’s absorption. 1
  • Vitamin D helps to reduce the incidence of falls, which is associated with postural instability and muscle weakness, both of which can be a risk factor for bone fractures amongst women over the age of 60 and older.
  • Boron also plays an important role in bone health, while Calcium and Magnesium work in synergy to support muscle function.
  • Amino acids can play a crucial role in collagen synthesis and connective tissue health, which can in turn support skin elasticity, joint mobility and overall structural integrity in ageing women.
  • Amino acids provide the building blocks of protein, which in turn supports the body for energy growth, repair and maintenance, especially our bones and muscles.

Supports Immune Function, Digestive Health, Gut and Vaginal Health
  • Modern living and age-related changes in the body, can affect how resilient women become to viruses and bugs, and stress. These can all impact on our microbiome and immune function. 5
  • Zinc, Selenium and Vitamin C contribute to the normal function of the immune system. 5
  • Healthy bacterial strains including Lactobacillus crispatus and Lactobacillus reuteri are provided at 5 billion CFU per dose. Lactobacilli strains have been extensively studied, for their impact on the gut microbiome and overall health. L.crispatus and L.reuteri play a particular role in supporting the vaginal microbiome and helping restore vaginal flora. 10-12
  • Evidence shows that the gut microbiome can impact other areas of health, far beyond gut health. Gut microbiota metabolites influence bone metabolism, which in turn can be a beneficial area of health to look into when supporting bone mass and density. 11
  • Cranberry extract provides great levels of antioxidants for overall health. Cranberries' contain active plant compounds, referred to as proanthocyanidins  (PACs). They have shown to be clinically effective at working in the gut to prevent E.coli bacteria from clinging onto the tissues of the vagina and urinary tract. Cranberry extract may offer a protective action which can be beneficial as women age, as they become more prone to vaginal dryness and may experience bladder emptying problems. 7-9
  • The consumption of berries including cranberries, offers microbiome mediated gastrointestinal, metabolic and immune health benefits. These are due to the vast array of active compounds they contain. Evidence suggests, gut microbiome modulation can help positively influence healthy nutrition and better health outcomes as well as modulate risk factors.

Maintain a Healthy Heart
  • As we age, a process known as homocysteine metabolism is impaired. This can, in turn, contribute to raised homocysteine levels, which are associated with chronic health concerns, including memory, blood clots, heart issues, brain and bone health concerns.
  • Vitamins like B6, Folate (B9) and B12 play a key role in supporting homocysteine metabolism and are there to help to break down homocysteine to generate other chemicals the body needs.
  • Vitamin K contributes to normal blood clotting and Vitamin B1 supports the normal function of the heart.
  • Along with a healthy, balanced diet and an active lifestyle, Women’s ProMulti can help provide optimal dosages of these nutrients in their most bioavailable forms, supporting absorption and efficacy.
