Serotonin-boosting Banana & Walnut Porridge (Ve)

Bananas and walnuts helps support serotonin production by providing tryptophan and omega 3s.  

Ingredients

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 2 cups almond milk
  • 1 ripe banana (mashed)
  • 1 tbsp. flaxseeds
  • ¼ cup walnuts (chopped)
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp. maple syrup

Method

  1. In a pot, heat almond milk and oats over medium heat until creamy.
  2. Stir in mashed banana, flaxseeds and cinnamon.
  3. Remove from heat and top with walnuts and maple syrup before serving.
