Morning Energy Oat Bakes (Ve)
Start your mornings right with the fibre-rich powerhouse: oats! Not only do they provide sustained energy, but they also promote heart health, making them an essential breakfast food. Whether you enjoy it warm straight out of the oven or as an on-the-go snack, our energy oat bakes are the ideal morning power-up to help you tackle your day.

Ingredients
- 200g rolled oats 60g plain flour
- ½ tsp. baking powder
- 290g overripe bananas
- 50 ml of almond milk
- 60g melted coconut oil
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- Sprinkle of vegan dark chocolate chips
- Sprinkle of sunflower seeds
Method
- Smash the bananas in a mixing bowl.
- Add the wet ingredients by pouring in the almond milk, vanilla extract and coconut oil to the mashed bananas.
- Gently fold in the dark chocolate chips and some sunflower seeds.
- Place the mixture on a sheet of greaseproof paper in a rectangular sheet tray.
- Before putting them in the oven, top with the rest of your sunflower seeds.
- Bake for about 15 minutes at 180°C or until golden brown.
- Once cooled, cut into your squares.
